Trail #43 &# 325 Petit train du Nord

Colder temperatures helped us a lot.  We are grooming tonight.  Mild temperatures are forecast so we will see.

We’ve been grooming on average 4 times per week since the beginning of the season.  With 300 members, sadly we have to reduce the number of times we groom to 3 per week until the end of the season.  Ideally, we are going to groom Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Sometimes we will groom another day depending on the weather.  Your Club needs 500 members to have the trails perfectly groomed all season long.  Encourage your friends to purchase their trail passes from Club Pionnier des Laurentides… it’s the only way to  ensure great trails.  On top of that, maintenance of the groomers is very, very expensive!!!  The mild temperatures don’t help us either.  We are not giving up, it’s a question of passion, but passion doesn’t pay the fuel bills.

Please be careful and stay on the trails.

-Ste Adele toward St Adolphe d’Howard – trail #43 – Club Pays d’en Haut!?

-St-Adolphe d’Howard toward the intersection of Lac des Seize Iles and Brebeuf : Beautiful; It is now Club Diable Rouge grooming 2.5 km and the Quad club is grooming 1.6km.  (We are more efficient this way, thanks to all)

THE 2ND ANNUAL ANTIQUE SNOWMOBILE SHOW AND RIDE AT FESTI-NEIGE STE AGATHE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!!  (new photos coming)

ST-ADOLPHE D’HOWARD, at last the TQ 43 has returned.  In effect, the trail passes from Ste-Agathe des Monts towards Ste-Adele; it will continue toward Lac St-Joseph and finally heading off to Brebeuf and Lac-des-Seize-Iles.  Thank you to everyone who made the return of this trail possible and a huge thank you goes to Rejean Gravel, mayor of St-Adolphe, for all of his involvement.

Club Pionnier des Laurentides fundraising supper was November 25th at Les 2 Richards, such excellent service and a big thank you to everyone for the great evening!  More than 75 loyal members attended the evening for the official opening of the 2011-2012 season.  It was the unveiling of our new trailer, purchased at Remorques des Monts.  There remain 3 advertising places for sale, Thank you to Remorque des Monts, St-Hubert groupe Rochon, Thibault Marine, Contant BRP, Randonneige and Alexandre Byette.

New Logo in preparation for the 50th anniversary of Club Pionnier des Laurentides

There is some news for trail # 43 from Ste. Agathe toward Ste. Lucie…  Coming Soon…

The Club is preparing for the 50th anniversary in 2012-2013.  We have been lucky enough to have financial assistance from the FCMQ and CRE Laurentides.  Lots of work has been done to improve our trails between Ste. Agathe towards Ste. Lucie and St. Adolphe.  A huge thank you goes out to Excavation R.B.  Gauthier, Excavation Real Vaillancourt and J. Clarke Excavation as well as our tree cutters Max and Jeremie.

     

 

 

We are very proud to have a new sponsor added to our club trailer.  Giroux Chrysler Dodge Jeep!  Thank you for your encouragement.  Unfortunately the trail map publicity was already in production, you will find the previous owner listed.  We will fix that problem next season.
